Hello everyone! My mother, who is otherwise a 57-year-old, healthy woman, has suffered from a stroke. Our neurologist suggests that she should undergo diagnostic tests and treatment as early as possible. However, our family lives pay cheque to pay cheque. It would be extremely hard for us to afford her treatment. One of my mother’s friends has suggested taking out a medical loan.

As much as that is appealing, I want to know whether anyone here has requested such a loan. Does it classify as a personal loan? If someone can share their experience with me, I would truly be grateful!
